This wikiHow teaches you how to watch videos you've downloaded, synced, or recorded with your iPhone.

Open the TV app. It's a black app that contains the image of a video monitor.

Tap Library . It's in the lower-left corner of the screen.

Choose a type of video to watch. Your videos are arranged by type:
- Tap TV Shows to watch television episodes that you've purchased.
- Tap Movies to watch movies that you've purchased.
- Tap Home Videos to watch videos, including movies or TV shows that you added to iTunes yourself rather than purchased from the iTunes Store.
- Tap Downloaded to watch videos that are stored in your iPhone's internal storage.
  - You can stream videos you've purchased from iTunes, but you'll need a wireless connection. If you're not going to have a wireless connection when you want to watch a video (like on a plane), it's a good idea to download the content you want to watch to your iPhone.

Tap a video. Once you've selected the type of video to watch, tap on an individual video.
- TV Shows may listed by series, so you'll have to tap the series title and then tap an individual episode.

Tap ▶️. It will appear in the center of the video screen. This will start the video.
- Tap the screen during playback to reveal pause, reverse, and fast-forward controls.

Open the Photos app. It's a white app with a multi-colored flower icon.

Scroll down and tap Videos . This is an album where videos you recorded with your iPhone are automatically stored.

Put the files on your laptop, and install iTunes. Plug your device into your laptop and drag the files into iTunes and onto your device. Then synchronize everything by clicking on the iPhone logo on the top left and then on "synchronize now" on the bottom right. After it is synchronized, your videos should appear on your device.
